All trotters, one broke her maiden by 10 so I take that as a good sign.

Re: How did your mixbreed perform?
Hey Doug I saw that one of your standardbreds won with a 43 speed figure SWEET!!
I only ran apps and qh's and had one of each that I was proud of:
Fast Chic She ran a 77 speed fig..Fastest of the night by any mixed breed..WOW.. and set a track record. What a nice little filly.! SHe is 4 and I'll have to make a decision about whether she visits a top sire at the end of thsi year or races another.
Its a gamble stakes winning app with a 74 speed figure, making an early bid to be a future stud candidate. Of course he's only 2 so who knows?
a few of mine were sent off to the sales page for some of you more experienced and patient to play with.. None of them are being offered for more than 15k--even the fillies.

Re: How did your mixbreed perform?
Terrible. I had 5 running last night and didn't fare so well.
Apparently, even my mixed breeds are NOT stakes quality horses. I just can't seem to catch a break (except for One Listens! thank you for that).
Amurra Farase finished 9th in the California Desert Stakes and gave way
Aswad Leil finished 11th in the Golden Desert Stakes and had no rally
Ciscos Lucky Charm finished 11th in the Ruidoso Paint Fillies Cup was left behind
Dun Made Me Zip finished 4th in a maiden with a steady effort
Hanover Sahbra finished 4th in a maiden and was three wide
So, overall, I'm not exactly sure what to do with these guys, but as it was their first races, I'm not giving up. I have hope.

Re: How did your mixbreed perform?
Ran three; had one win a stakes (i.e. a glorified maiden at this point, but hey, that's okay, I'll take it! ) and the other two stink. S'all good!
