Okay- I was keeping the record times until I discovered they are listed under the rankings tab on the "My Stable" page.

Anywho- Several QH's have had the same top-end speed rating so this should be very exciting as the distances stretch out!

I'm excited about my 4yo filly Babydoll. She put in a nice workout over 220 yards -- 12.27 which is the fastest thus far amongst her age/gender group.

I started The Quarter Chronicles in The Feature Race. I've posted one article thus far and have numerous more in the makings. Check it out and let me know what you think.

I have just one quarterhorse, but what a start for him.

Mr Cellophane started his career smashing out a 2 1/2 length victory. And the 72 Speed Figure makes me happy.

I posted Part 2 of The Quarter Chronicles in The Feature Race. It features QH sire Cutting Corners as well as current track/distance records and top speed figures!!

Time records are being broken left and right!! A select few horses have blitzed 220 yards in under 12 seconds and some have gone 300 yards in under 16 seconds! Any day now the 330 yards will be done in under 17 seconds...

Also I just submitted The Quarter Chronicles, Part 3: Heritage to be posted in the breeding section versus the racing section as we delve into the lineage of the Sim QH's and get you thinking about breeding QH foals for next season!! Hopefully it will be posted soon!

Next will be (I promise) about the top 4yo QH colts hitting the tracks currently... could there be a potential super stud amongst them??

I myself am building up a QH (and Arab) broodmare band -- I have two of my own QH broodmares plus I've purchased about 10 others hoping I can figure out their fav distance/etc. It definitely will be interesting to see what will match up best in the breeding shed!

I bought this filly for $7,500 in the auction after she ran a poor 7th in her debut. I adjusted the equipment and gave her 200 extra yards to run down & voila -- she won!!.... or in technical terms she "exploded!" I'm very excited!!
