The 3 stakes winning 4yos in racing right now are going to add some really nice variety to the stallion roosters if they all retire -- one is 300-yd specialist if I remember correctly... one is loving distance ... and the other is enjoying the middle ground. Those broodmares will have lots of good options.
And then you do have the legendary World Champion First Dash Down and Corona Cartel's sire Holland Ease. I don't think Holland Ease was as good as his son, though... someone correct me if I'm wrong. And all three of those current stallion all seemed to specialize at 400-yards from what I can dig up.
Cutting Corners on the other hand is totally fictional so I'm watching his offspring to see what they prefer... they're kinda scattered all over the place in what they like.
Tomorrow nights "Toaster Stakes" should be interesting. Mac's Dashing Cowboy (Undefeated) goes again at 350yds. With Ghostfreak and Quick Fire coming back in distance and Ol' Ninety Proof at his preferred distance. This should be a close one. Incidentally, I've had one horse lose twice to Cowboy, once by a neck and once by a head. Time for me to try a new one...

I just entered him into Year 23 Week 15 (Wednesday) Los Angelitos-CA Condition: Fast. Race 2 - 400 yards. Dirt. Quarter Horse. "California Juvenile." 2 year olds. Stakes. Purse $750,000 - Grade 1 Entry Fee $7,500 b Jockey: Luis Lucero
I had a pleasant surprise last week with my horse Lukers http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=83448 who really blew away his maiden field in a really fast time. I hope I'm not being too rash by entering him into the California Marathon... his time is tied with the fastest one by any of the entrants so far, so I think I'm not too out of place here. My first graded stakes entry! I'm excited

You have a very nice colt, Adela. He is one of the faster 870-yard QH's ... the "fast" QH you are alluding to is probably one of the best (if not thee best) 870-yard specializing QH in the Sim right now.
