Re: Arabian Lovers Unite!
I created a couple new Arabians... I couldn't help myself. Here they are:
PRANCIN SNOW, Grey 4yoC, 16hh -- I imagine him as the whitest of greys, a very handsome guy!
SERAFINA, Dark Bay 3yoF, 16.1hh -- her name means seraphim/angel in Latin

Landon:
The weakness is mutual.
Pyrokinesis, Chestnut 3yoF, 16.1hh
Also? Way is a shrimp! He's 15hh... And yet, oh so pretty and quick.

I love Pyrokinesis's name! And she looks like she may be a good one! Nice job! ... Poor lil Way has to move his legs faster than everybody else just to keep up!

Re: Arabian Lovers Unite!
I imagine them as sort of a chestnut blur floating along the track...
(Thanks~ I love it too I'm trying to decide when to run her. Hmm, both my Arabs are chestnuts, I wonder if my subconscious is trying to tell me something...)
I think I'm going to get Way a headshot when the Mixed are available. I picture him as sort of very dainty and delicate, very fine boned (like my dog, everyone always thinks he's a girl), but a fiery, in-your-face chestnut.

Re: Arabian Lovers Unite!
I've got two...YAY! My 2 y/o colt was a gift, the 3 y/o filly was CAH...gawd she's pretty
Opinions appreciated. Filly is running wk 5.
Aladdin's Dream - He needs a new name as I want to be technically accurate and apostrophies aren't allowed in the AHA book; I do want to keep it similar, if possible.
Hedban Maanagi by Desert Flight - Her name means "Black Longneck" in anglicized Arabic. Hedban is also one of the four modern types of Arab, while Maanagi was one of the original five founding stallions according to one legend (another says 5 mares)

Re: Arabian Lovers Unite!
Serafina posted a nice work, 4 furlongs in 0:52.54!
Looks like Hedban Maanagi has her work cut out for her.

Re: Arabian Lovers Unite!
She did work nicely -- I was debating whether to do that this week or just hold out till the race... obviously, you know which way I decided! I think she will do well at 6F. Glad to have her in my stables as a potential mate for Rian!!

Re: Arabian Lovers Unite!
Oooh, I didn't even think of that. Course, that'll be a few years down the line, considering Arabians, like cheese, only improve with age.
And now, instead of Calc III (final is tomorrow), I have fluffy little Way babies frolicking in my mind.
ETA: Exactly! Those extra 5 inches make Rian an Unwieldy Object.
Psst, Hedban Maanagi is 2 inches shorter than Serafina, clearly the most important factor at work here...

Re: Arabian Lovers Unite!
3 more Arab wins, that brings my total to 7 so far this year!
Nazli won her stakes, Fayruz won her NW2, and Bahija broke her maiden.
I love these little horses!!

Congratulations! I am so envious of your obvious platoon of Arabs! I have my two... I hope they don't get lonely
