Hall of Fame Debating, Go!
As you can see in other forums, I've asked for Hall of Fame noms for various divisions. Instead of one horse per division this year, several will get in, to make up for A. A bunch of back log and B. That we skipped it for several years.
Some people love the idea of "redoing" the Hall of Fame to get rid of horses, but that's absurd. You don't kick out a horse that was important to a group of people several years ago just because they aren't important to you personally now. But it has been dirt route heavy, so we will get in some horses from all divisions this year to ease some of the backlog.

Post and debate your recommendations: Go! (Keep in mind last race had to be Year 42 or earlier).

Re: Hall of Fame Debating, Go!
Since I only know Dirt Sprint and Routers.............There are a number of horses that I can't believe aren't in the Hall of Fame! These list could go on and on
Dirt Sprinter - Lightning, Graces, Nicholas, Lost Soldier, Lost
Dirt Routers - Just Victory, East, End Result, Amber, Change the Past, Doctor, and my personal favorite Keep Your Promise (he taught me the importance of Patience in the game)

I like the cut of your jib, Carole.
From roughly the same era there's also Atlantis, Sword Bearer, and Kareen Abdul who are all worthy.

Re: Hall of Fame Debating, Go!
I'm going to do some PR for one of my own, if that's not frowned upon....
Turf Miler Star Signs was one of my favorites. Underdog from the beginning, was able to purchase him in a Stew-bred auction. $57,000 turned out to be a bargain buy.
He finished 2nd in his first Steward's Cup attempt as a 3 year old, and backed that up as a 4 year old with the Steward's Cup win.
As a sire, he was a monster producer in the Turf Mile division for years and years.
As a breeder, one of the neatest accomplishments was running 1st and 2nd in the Year 29 SC Juvy Fillies Turf Mile with Starspin and Winstar.

Adjust the Sound 10 for 12 incl. SC, foundation sire (if we're considering that which I don't think we are or should)
Soldier Field 14/18, only horse to ever win Aussie triple, SC Turf Dash, SC TS and Desert TS
Ease 12/15. Seemed nearly unstoppable way back when
Silent Jig Unbeaten in 15, Desert TS, SCTD, SCTS
As to War Unbeaten in 12, SCTS, Los Camp
Perfect Night, Hand of God, Knightsbridge Road, Big Fish?

LONG OVERDUE FARM: Keepin' it Canada since Year 16.

for Turf Milers
World Wide Fame one of the best on the track during his time with 13 wins from 15 starts and $3.2 mil in earnings, was 3/4 of a length shy of being a three time SC winner, sired 7 millionaires, average $85k on the track

Could use some dirt mile research into this I think.
