Ekawa Design wrote: I had a good week. The best part was a "project horse" I have... Winter of Despair. I thought he would be a serious bum, but with some advice from Eric, I was able to have some direction to try and figure him out. Well, this week he won his first maiden (his 7th race)! Woo Hoo! I am totally shocked he won and I found that he likes the turf, not dirt like his previous 6 races.
So a big thanks out to Eric!!! B)
YAY! I bred him!
Of course, I was also the one who started him out on dirt... but I'd like to think I've learned a lot since the old SIM was around
Do you know where his name is from? It's from the opening paragraph of Tale of Two Cities. I had to memorize it when I was in high school.

Yeah, unfortunately she seems to be finding them lately...I can't get a win on her at all I know she's better than what her record is suggesting though. To me that's the frustrating part. It seems like I have the roughest luck with getting very nice horse to run up to thier pedigree. LOL
That did seem like a really tough race that she was in this week....hopefully next time out she catches a softer field
I had a great week! I got my first win (from Arnel, with $12k) and a 3rd, and a bunch of 4ths and 5ths (so money money money! Not much money, but money nonetheless, lol). I'm very pleased this week!
