Certain things that make (not much) much difference

Original article written by Stina Vica posted 7 months 2 weeks ago

In today's article I want to talk about the big and small details in the game. Depending on how you see it, you can see it as very important or not. I am talking about the horse whisperer, the jockeys, post position and gelding.

I think we all know that many parts and many tiny things make a whole, so it is with SIMhorseracing, our favorite game. Equitment completes our horse so that it can perfectly participate in races. Without having this figured out beforehand, our horse can't run optimally. Another example would be the perfect distance for your horse, if this is not clear or you don't let the horse run there, then unfortunately you can't expect much. In the same way, the horse has to run on the right ground, that makes a lot of difference, if not actually everything.
You see, these are some of the things you can't do well without, the ones that make a big difference if you want to run a good racing stable.

As mentioned above, there are of course also these things that you probably ignore as a new player and get to know newly. Functions in the game, which can make a lot of difference or just no big change, everyone must decide for themselves.

A jockey you get at the beginning of the game, but of course there are differences in jockeys that you only find out when you ask the jockey agent. What levels there are and how you can see that your jockey is the best, you can easily read in the forum. Jockeys don't always make a big difference, but they can influence the race in the final battle if you have a very good Jockey, for example. Might be a good idea to check that.

A small change where we unfortunately have no influence on are the post positions. These are randomly assigned after the race is closed, but still have an influence on how our horse runs.

Now let's get back to the ones we can actively change something about. One would be the gelding function. Of course, after that is excluded that your horse can get foals and with mares, of course, this does not work. But if you just want the horse to have a great racing career anyway, then you can make the horse a gelding - that gives the horse a little boost and can be worthwhile.

My favorite function is the horse whisperer. You can use this if you have bought Simperior and this function is then automatically displayed on the relevant horse pages. Here you can ask at a cost, what your horse prefers. (Likes mud, loves mud, likes dry, loves dry, no preference).
This information can help you a lot with your horse. Your horse, if it is for example ( a Loves Mud one) will run better on a Muddy ground than on Firm or other.

Little things can make a lot of difference in my opinion.
I hope I could bring some of the value closer and I wish everyone good luck and have fun playing!
