I was inspired by another thread which pointed out two horses named My Left Toe and My Right Toe. While looking over all the horses I've bred, I've discovered I gave some of my horses some pretty special names.

Duitifyagotem (makes sense because it's Conduit x Kissemifyagotem but still it doesn't sound quite kosher)
Elusive Snog
Espen (the Magazine!)
Hey Baby
Siremiver (I can't imagine I came up with this one so if anyone knows...)
Throw Boots

Has anyone else come across names they gave horses that make them wonder what kind of crack they were on at the time?

Does Sirius, Remus, and Oliver mean anything to you?

If you notice a whole slew of horses that sound like they were named by Kevin Smith (the Dogma era, mostly), that'd be my fault.

I like to think most of my names are pretty good. A filly by Phoenix named Phoxy, for example. However, I went overboard with a few musically themed horses, and everything I ever bred using Yakima.

Filli Vanilli
Redhotfillypepper

and then...

Disco Yak
King of all Yaks
Kityaki

I couldn't stand to look much deeper.

P.S. Ronda, Oliver is Oliver Wood, the Gryffindor team quidditch captain Harry rode under.

I just named a Lost Soldier x My Trusty Cat filly "Nitty Gritty Kitty"

Also had a hand in naming one of the three "Wheely Brothers" (Wheelaway kids)

"Popa Wheely" - I helped name him
"Wheely Fast" - Susie helped on him
"Wheely Race Well" -Susie helped on him

I think I spend too much time thinking up names, I have several lists... ;)

I find the Wheely's WAY too entertaining. I blame myself for that one.

I even had to get one - Wheely Special.

He was named after the side of a truck, silly. We just happened to be leaping about when we saw it.

Nooo... I wanted to name a horse after the icecream truck which said something silly I don't remember. Happy Feet was named 'cause you went running down a hallway just to sit down, then when you did, you took off your shoes and started rubbing your feet mumbling "happy feeeet..."
