Welcome to the annual Riverstone Farm Yearling Sale! I was going to wait and post this once we get back to racing because I know we aren’t all rolling in cash at the moment due to stud fees… but, well, I’m bored.
This year’s sale will be different. The year 19 yearlings will be sold in multiple sessions, with around 15 yearlings per group. Last year I sold over 40 yearlings, this year it will probably be more! This is just the first session, other sessions will follow once we are back to racing. Well, I might squeeze in the second session- but that depends on how well this one goes.
Please place bids below on this thread. Each bid must be at least $1,000 more than the last. Please don’t buy for the purpose of reselling.
If you buy one and ever want help with it or have questions- please feel free to send me a message! The horses sold here range in predicted ability from claiming level to allowance level, with some possible stakes contenders as well. Sometimes, I'll admit, they are a bit of an experiment. For instance, I'm not certain if Gold Allure will sire more turf or dirt horses, so I've priced his foals here very cheap. Most yearlings, however, are priced based on stud fee.
Oh and please note, some turf horses are already in Europe.
Auction ends May 21 at 8 PM Eastern, 5 PM Pacific. Nice and short. Happy Bidding!!!
