A summary of W13 G1 races in the wonderful world of turf!

Starting in Egypt on Day 1 where the Nile Stakes was run for Fillies and Mares over 2 miles. The winner was Ivermectined (Ivor) a homebred for Stephen Saratoga. It was her twelfth win at her nineteenth start and she has a companion cat named Daman.

In Brazil 3yo filly Madame T (Dorian Grey) beat the older boys in the Grande Premio Sao Paulo over a mile and half. She was a $650K Steward purchase for trainer Trasevere Peru. It was her first G1 win and she has a companion cat named Universitaria.

On Day 5 in Asia the Japanese Fall Marathon was run over a mile and a quarter where the winner was 4yo colt Long Goodbyes (First Class) for trainer Lucas Davenport. It was his ninth win at his sixteenth start and fourth G1 win. He has a companion cat named Hello.

The 2yos did battle in the Lord Kanaloa Stakes over 6 and a half furlongs. The winner was Sega Mega Drive (Wootton Bassett) a homebred for Aidan O’Brien. It was his fourth win at his fifth start and he has a companion goat named Issac Shelby.

In Europe 5yo horse Not Avengers (Avengers Assemble) won Ireland’s Champion Stakes over a mile and a quarter for trainer Lucas Davenport. It was his eleventh win at his 25th start and his first G1 win.

The Irish Matron Stakes was run over a mile for Fillies and Mares where the winner was 5yo mare Essentially Home (Beau) a homebred for Dave Trainer. It was her tenth win and third G1 win at her 24th start.

In South Africa the 2yo fillies ran over 7 furlongs in the Diamonds And Pearls Stakes where the winner was The Shield Maiden (Gord’s Secret) for trainer John D’arc. It was her fourth win at her sixth start and she has a companion cat named Thyra.

The Bronze Horseshoe was run over 7 furlongs for 2yo colts and geldings and the winner was Zero Dawn (Wait For Delight) a homebred for Laura Smith. It was his fifth win at his sixth start and second G1 win.

In North America the Arcadia Ladies Mile was run over a mile for Fillies and Mares. The winner was 4yo filly Kitty (Beau) for Rochelle Bos. It was her tenth win and seventh G1 at her sixteenth start. She is a full sister to Still Into You who stands at stud.
